STUDYING WEAR...

Last day of student week! I was sadly stuck in the library all day yesterday, the joys of coursework! so i didn't really have much opportunity to scout some fashionista students! Luckily Ruth and Lorna were there to step in, although they were very reluctant  to start as all of us have been looking that a bit worse for wear recently with the lack of sleep but i still think the girls look great!! 

Lorna and Ruth are both wearing some vintage treasures found at the new vintage shop Once Upon a Time. Lorna's cream silk blouse is a vintage Ralph Lauren ... Very lucky find! And Ruth's denim  Wrangler shorts. Not looking bad for a having a few all night study sessions?

Words cannot describe how incredible these boots are and Lisa is the lucky owner.  Studying in Glasgow she takes complete advantage of having a Urban Outfitters close by. Lisa is a very close friend of mine and i have always admired her style, which i would describe as Glam Rock with some added Grunge pieces, i wonder if she agrees?

Lorna is a 2nd year Fashion Management Student at RGU, Dressed for university and a shopping trip after she wears mostly black but adding sparkle with some statement pieces of jewellery. Her day to day student style is always smart and tailored, and she achieves this with the use of a black blazer over any outfit!!

...Move over Movember

Sooo Movemeber is almost coming to an end! Although i did enjoy 'tash watch' that went on between me and the girls at uni, there was always a debate whether the tash in question was supporting Movember or not? 


In vogue i spotted a little section with various products with the facial hair in question, appearing on random things such as cork screws, necklaces, t-shirts etc. I thought it was great that girlies could show their support by sporting these various products. Here are some of my favorites...

Bibis Bakery also got involved in the Movember trend and baked these delicious cup cakes!

...Wrapping Up

Get Your Winter Coat!!


Over the years i have acquired many coats and jackets, some have been left in the back of my wardrobe but others have survived. Such as my vintage Barbour, Leather biker jacket, Mac coat. Here i am again on the quest for a new jacket or coat that will hopefully become an important piece in my wardrobe! 


There are a few styles this year that have caught my eye and i cant decide which one i will go for! If i could afford one of each kind i would but sadly my student bank balance strongly disagrees with this idea.  So instead i have put together a few collages of my favorite styles of winter coats available this year. 

The contrast sleeve is a head turner this season is all about mixing textures and these jackets give the perfect mix. 

The Cocoon coat is appealing as it is classic and stylish design, but also adds the comfort and warmth factor which is in great need in Aberdeen this time of year.

The Oversized Blazer or Boyfriend Blazer, is the style i am leaning towards this year. It may not offer the most warmth but i think a Blazer would go with more outfit choices. If anyone spots a stylish black blazer please let me know! i'm not having much luck finding one. 

...KILLER HEELS

Scared of heights?  Try walking, dancing and (if you’re brave enough) running, in this season’s hottest footwear. Forget about winter boots, stability and practicality. Ditch the wellies and stand tall! Although we would all KILL to get our hands on a luxury pair of Christain Louboutins there are plenty of copycat designs on the high street.
